Rome Fashion Week

For all of those who don't personally know me, I was just in Rome...for Fashion Week. I honestly don't even know where to start. This was by far one of the coolest, chicest, most eye-opening weeks of my entire life. As if I wasn't 100% sure I want to pursue a career in the fashion industry, I am now 100000000% sure. I love everything about fashion, from the design to the work to the actual outcome when buyers buy for their customers. It is one of the most misunderstood industries in the world, and little do most people know, it is a $250 billion industry and is growing 4-6% each year.

Anyways, while I was in Rome, I attended AltaRoma AtlaModa (which translates to Rome Fashion Week). I was fortunate enough to attend because of my grandpa, who actually won this trip at an auction. So, my mom and I had the opportunity to attend 4 fashion shows and visit the Atelier of Renato Balestra during our week. We saw the runway shows of Gattinoni, Abed Mahfouz, Giada Curti and Renato Balestra. When we weren't at fashion shows, we were total tourists and toured the entire city while stuffing our faces with the AMAZING food. Thankfully the weather was gorgeous for most of the trip. I don't think I will ever really be able to accept the fact that buildings like the Pantheon, the Vatican, St. Peters and even the Colosseum were built thousands of years ago. The history beyond the entire city is absolutely breath taking and trying to imagine Romans living in such an advanced world at that time is baffling.

I am going to make separate posts for each designer/fashion show, but here are some pictures from the week! This was totally a once in a lifetime opportunity and I will never ever forget this experience. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

The ideal Prom look

I know it's probably a little too early to start thinking about Prom, but I mean a girl can never be too prepared! I'll probably change my mind completely by the time it's actually May, but as of right now this is what I would LOVE to wear. No matter what I end up wearing, I want it to be fun and colorful. Also, I will for a fact be wearing my bright pink Chanel lipstick :)

Ah, I just love how flowy and fun this dress is

These Aquazzura heels. They are just TOO fun and perfect for spring!

This vintage Chanel cuff. I mean, COME ON

I'd love for my bangs to look like this up front and then for the rest of my hair to be pulled loosely back into a ponytail
